Wearable electronics and smart textiles: a critical review
may 14 - Sensors Journal

I grew up in Ivrea, near Turin, which gave birth to Adriano Olivetti, one of the most relevant examples of social and visionary entrepreneurship in the world. His life inspired my personality and guided my choices.

From a PhD in wearable technologies for the astronauts, to fund new companies, I always address the challenges with curiosity, enthusiasm and dedication. The key elements to develop turnkey solutions and to provide a professional consulting, with a track record of 4 projects presented at the CES of Las Vegas and awards during the last years.

Co-Founder/CTO at Sherlock Srl (totally merged into Viasat Group Spa), consumer electronics production management and technology consultant with a main focus on IoT, wearable technology, industrial and aerospace applications.

Scientific collaborations with King's College London (aerospace physiology), Politecnico di Torino (textile engineering), Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (advanced RF technology), Massachusetts Institute of Technology end European Space Agency.

Mentor/teacher for business innovation & entrepreneurship courses.

Today, co-founder of RED | Research and Design, brand-new consulting agency, spin-off of Erregi Elettronica Srl. A perfect merge between the freshness and innovation mindset with the <30years experience about consumer/industrial products industrialization (eg. Olivetti, ENI, Tierra Spa, etc).

My spare time is crowded with music, sports, reading, hacking tech stuff and riding with my motorbike.

👉 Keywords: IoT, wearable tech, aerospace tech, space medice, GNSS satellite, cellular telecomunication  tech, entrepreneurship and business innovation.
